My favorite musical instrument is the Pungi or Been. It is the snake charmer's flute. I like it because it puts me into a trance. It also hypnotizes the charmer's audience, and his cobra. Alot of people say cobras are deaf and can't hear the music. I dissagree. Because when I was a snake charmer in a past life, I could sence when the cobra was hypnotized.

That's cool you know about your past lives! My favorite instrument is the voice! You can make so many different tones and sounds with the vocal cords using different vocal and breathing techniques. Being a voice major I have explored the voice intensively from making overtones (like a piano), animal calls, to singing opera. Fun stuff!

My favorite instrument to hear is the violin. It is soothing and relaxing when played one way and invigorating and exciting when played another way.
My favorite instrument to play (out of all the instruments I have played) is the flute (as in the classical, standard flute like you see in orchestras). My second favorite instrument to play is a tie between the tambourine and the cymbals (perhaps because they're the only percussion instruments I ever played the others were mostly either brass or woodwind instruments).

I play bass so that's my favorite. Someone said they like drums because it holds the music together but really it's the bass that holds everything together and gives music it's groove. I have also used an analogy between offensive linemen in football and bass players. We do a lot of hard work so that someone else can be the star.

My favorite is the flute because I have always loved it and I have played it since I was 9 years old. It is harder to play than a lot of people htink it is because it takes more air to play than even the tuba.
