Music (Entertainment & Music) - 13 February 2007

I still love music from the 80's, The Clash, English Beat, Talking Heads, Peter Gabrial, Cyndi Lauper, U2 etc etc, but I love Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc. And some of today's sounds of Techno and Trance are o.k, but the rock of today seems very self involved and really whiney. Or, Have I not found the right bands? And, there is no way that I like rap of today, it's gotten way too corporate and to sexist, racist and to bling bling crude. Are there any other choices of good music out there? I feel that I'm drowning in a see of medicrity here.

really vauge song lyrics, do you know this song?

There is a song that has been playing on an alternative radio station in southern il. it gets really fast in the corus, and it sounds like their saying, this ain't a seen, its a ... and i don't know what it really says. A guy sings it, and later on in the song he says and all the girls whose legs wouldn't dance this fast , just sing. and it gets kinda high in some spots (like in the corus) just ask if you have any questions.

i have tried to download itunes7 but it reads not a valid win32 application. how can i overcome this problem.?

Who else here thinks MTV has "lost it"?

I mean, at the beggining MTV was a big shot. They passed the best music videos, their shows were the best, in other words you weren´t a teen if you didn´t LOVE MTV. However nowadays they hardly play any music videos, it´s only about shows and commercials. There is so many excelent music out there, and it seems that MTV "just forgets" about it.

Shouldn´t it be cool if MTV played the role like simon and paula do (american idol judges), looking up constantly new tendencies and styles in music and start playing them.
