How many in the Country music business have laid with someone other than their spouse? How many have talked about the politicans ... President... to be included.? How many of them put down President Clinton but uphold the liar in office now? Hypcrites... at least the Dixie Chicks have a backbone... and this retired veteran stands up next to the Chicks ... people need to get over that hypcritical behavior...how many of YOU have done the same thing?
What the Chicks stated... has come to pass... .

I doubt it....The Dixie Chicks have crossed over into pop now....most country fans say adios and good riddance......I personally believe they have a right to say what they want..but they forgot who their fan base was, and what they believe... there is a time and place for politics...a country music concert is neither the time or place...If they were on Letterman and said what they did, I doubt many would have been offended, but to pay to hear some good music and then have your values/beliefs disparaged by the entertainers was just a slap in the face to them. Thats why the got slapped back

well, I HATE 'em!!! That natalie just can't keep her mouth shut. I believe in freedom of speech and I too think Bush is a maroon but, there is a time and a place for spewing your political views and at a concert in a foreign country (that isn't sure if they should support us or not) where people payed as much as $200 for a ticket-----IS NOT THE PLACE. I too share the opinion: "shut up and sing"!

They're still banned in the Music City. I doubt they will even be invited. Hollywood's left gave them the Grammys not the people.

I think they are still banned from that whole country world. That's what I heard on the news this morning. I hate country music but I love them for standing up for their beliefs.
