This song has become famous for being a classic example of "shopping mall" or "elevator" music. But, it has no lyrics because it only consist of the violin and some minor back beat from I think the piano. I know how it goes, but I just can't seem to find the name of it.

Here is how the notes go for the violin part (capital letter signifies a note hold):

Hopefully, any musically inclined people will know the song right away if you just know those notes and can hum the tune.

it's an upbeat rock-ish song, male singer. the commercial is the typical ipod commercial with the dancing sillouettes, but they're different bright neon colors. please and thank you!

I wasn't even aware that anybody was still doing this crap. I don't really listen to much rap music, I listen to Hip-Hop (Common, Cee-Lo, Outkast, Kanye, Talib, etc.) and yes there is a difference), but I was under the impression that all this beef crap was over, what are these fake thugs all whining about now? Recently i was "replaced" in my band and have recently been playing my own stuff (bass,lyrics and singing) but no matter how hard i try i'm always put down i have a program that can play the rest of the insturments for me and i have cheaply recorded 12 songs but i feel i just can't go on since i have little reinforcement help plz

I'm thinking of taking lessons.
I'd like to get a portable keyboard with certain sounds such as.. a Hammond organ, a good piano sound, (upright, baby grand or grand piano sound) among others, but those two are the most important.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, in the song American Pie by Don McLean, he says, "drove my chevy to the levee but the levee was dry." I used to live in a town on the banks of the Mississippi, and there was a levee that ran up and down that river by that town. You could drive your Chevy (or Ford or Dodge or whatever) to that levee and drive all up and down the top of it, and it was dry, because the whole purpose of that levee was to keep the Mississippi from exceeding its banks and flooding the town.

So..... why wouldn't the levee be dry, and why isn't that a good thing? :)

I'm 52 years old and bought my first electric guitar 5 days ago. I now have HUGE blisters on my first 3 fingers. I want these to turn to calluses, but they hurt so much I can only practice 10 minutes at a time now. They even hurt using the TV remote control. Is there any way I can speed up these blisters into calluses??? I popped the blisters today with a tiny pin prick. I hope I didn't lengthen the callus process by doing this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
