I've been playing on and off for a while now, and I want to learn some songs that I can enjoy and show off to my friends. Mind you, I'm pretty much a novice, but I can play most the chords and can do a little bit of fingerpicking. Any suggestions?

Heres most of the lyrics.. some might be wrong, but heres the main part (Starting from begining)..

He said son when you grow up, would you be the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damn.
He said will you defeat them, you demons and all the non-belivers the plans that they have made. Because one day ill leave you a phantom(?) to lead you in the summer to join the black parade.
Sometimes I get the fealin, shes watchin over me, and other times I feal like, I should go (?)

Thats all I can make out, or remember, I think most of the words are right, it was on station 92.5, 02-11-07, at night, at the Open House Party.
Please help if you know it, leave the artist/song title, anything. Thanks

So I was reading/talking about The Eagles when someone said that they were misogynistic. Was this person wrong or have they done/said things that would make that true. I havent listened to them as much as I should and have not found anything in their music that may suggest this.

i play trumpet in the jazz band at school. i absolutly love jazz and even more when im playing it. i am learning to play bass guitar so i can play that too, but there are not enough good trumpet players in the school. we reahearse every friday after school. all of my friends are musical and play at least 2 insruments. am i a socially hopeless geek?
