Hi

So I was reading/talking about The Eagles when someone said that they were misogynistic. Was this person wrong or have they done/said things that would make that true. I havent listened to them as much as I should and have not found anything in their music that may suggest this.

Thanks

I've never heard anything in their lyrics that would even vaguely lead me to believe they hated women.

That sounds really silly to me.

Misogynistic means they dislike women, right? I have never heard of that being connected to the Eagles.

Edit:
I found an article that may help....according to these things, they may be. I had no idea! Thanks for asking this question.

And, I read on one of these that "Witchy Woman" would be considered misogynistic.

Before they were the Eagles, they were the Stone Poneys, Linda Ronstadt's first back-up band, so, no I think those accusations are false.
