I am 14 years old, live on the south side of chicago, and have the most different taste of music of anybody i know. i have been in love with the band death cab for cutie, but i have yet to find somebody that likes them half as much as me. i just wanted to make sure i'm not a complete weirdo for liking them and would like to know what other death cab fans think of their music. I am absolutely captivated with the song Title and Registration and have learned to play Passenger Seat on the piano and Title and Registration, 405, and Coney Island on the guitar. I think it is Rock and Pop. Thats all the music i listen to, but there are some of my class mates who listen to rave and they say i should, because it is todays music and get with the style of sagging. I dont think so because i dont like rave or the sagging style. they go around in a group of saggers with their trousers down to their knees thinking its cool, but i dont think so.

Ok its not really a 'band' its a project that we're doing in general music at my school.We have to make a recording.The first two steps are coming up with a band name and writing a song.We're doing it on a country song that we're writing...so we need a country band name? nothing cheesy tough...and we're in 8th grade.

How does one major in performing arts? My general backround for the arts is singing. I sing Bel canto which means Beautiful singing in Italian, I've been singing since I was nine with private voice lessons and am now sixteen. I also particpate in the choir at school and I've been doing that since Elementary school. I don't want to give up music is my life and I honestly don't think you could live without it either imagine if your radio or ipod never existed? Thanks....

Who is better, to me Justin Timberlake is overrated , over hyped while Jon b is underrated so much so not many people know who he is. He has released some class albums over the years . Like Cool relax and pleasures you like.

I've been taking private voice lessons since I was nine and singing is my passsion and if someone took my voice away I don't know what I'd do.... I'm in the choir at my school, I still take private voice lessons and I perform solos as much as possible. I listen to Renne Fleming and Sumi jo who are both Opera singers and I wish I could be like Sumi jo, but I was just wondering if anyone had any useful advice on being an Opera singer?
