I like listening to some techno music, especially when I am working out.
BY THE WAY, if you are going to try to diss music, learn how to spell it first TECHNO!

Techno has stayed underground since the 90's and it has exploded into all kinds of various styles the most popular being Chillout which is what you hear on a lot of tv ads and shows. In Europe and Asia techno is somewhat mainstream.
Not many people refer to techno as "techno" most call it Electronica now. Even people who profess to hate techno like Eminem have been spotted in clubs that cater to techno crowds like Ministry of Sound in London. Techno DJ's are often the most commonly asked to do remixes and edits for many mainstream artists like Paul Oakenfold and Moby and some popular artists like Madonna and Justin Timberlake employ a "techno" type sound into some of their songs.

also check out http://www.manumission.com the official site of the world's largest dance club. Located on the island of Ibiza it's main style of music for years has been techno in fact the club is just now starting to allow rock concerts at it's venue.
