How does one major in performing arts? My general backround for the arts is singing. I sing Bel canto which means Beautiful singing in Italian, I've been singing since I was nine with private voice lessons and am now sixteen. I also particpate in the choir at school and I've been doing that since Elementary school. I don't want to give up music is my life and I honestly don't think you could live without it either imagine if your radio or ipod never existed? Thanks....

Check out the Northwestern University web site. It will give you a lot of great information that will start you off on the right foot It is arguably the best theater / performing arts university in the US.
