I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me the story behind the song Bobby. I just barely heard it for the first time...and I really like it. But I dont completly understand the story it tells. Bobby killed his wife and went to jail...and the little boy is his son. But Bobby didn't really kill her...he just didnt want to see her suffer. Than something about a car accident...that really took her life. Sorry...I just want to hear your interpretation.

Syd Barrett walked into a recording studio one day and brought in a song that he had just written. The other members of Pink Floyd found it impossible to learn because Syd kept changing the chord progressions every time that he played it for them. What was the name of the song?

Is it called Hero? I don't remember. Part of the chorus.
"I am a man who will fight for your honour."

Where can I find this song on the Net?

My husband loves this song and I've never heard it but he says that the song says something like "grind on it, ride on it" or something like that. He says the song also mentions "Pretty Ricky" but he wasn't sure if that's the guy that does the song or not. Thanks!

I started playing it when I was 11 (now I'm 14) and I really want to take it seriously...the problem is, in international tournees I meet kids younger than me playing advanced pieces..that sorta turns me down...If I practice daily...do you (if there are any violin, cello or viola players ou there...) think I can do it? :(...

First part: What is the title and artist of the Oldie that I'm pretty sure is "Love, Love Go Away" by Bobby Rydell? (I'm not sure of the title/artist, but I can't find it on LimeWire after a VERY extensive search, which leads me to believe I have the wrong title, artist, or both. It is DEFINITELY a 50's/early 60's song.)

Second part: Which artist/group sang the original version of the song titled "Denise, Denise". I found the version by Blondie but not the original. Who sang the version that came out in the 50's?(doowop song)
