I don't know but I agree totally. It annoys the hell out of me that a lot of the songs I want to download are only available on the USA site and because I don't have a registered address and credit card in the USA I can't buy them. Apple should have a serious re-think of the whole system.

I hate Itunes for other reasons. You cannot make a backup of your Ipod and now they are forcing you to auto-sync your library.
