Need Help With Alternate Tunings for Guitar?

I am new to playing but i eant to play some songs that r drop b tuning and i dont get how to do it can someone explain please

I think you mean drop D tuning. Drop D is basically standard tuning with the 6th string (the big one normally tuned to E) dropped down one step to a D. When the first three strings are strummed you get DAD part of a D chord.

Eddie Van Halen used this so much he had a guitar built with a switch to go from standard tuning to Drop D.
