Music - 17 January 2007

I'm getting bored of the stuff in the book, and I'd like to try to play some actual songs... I listen to (real) metal, and I'm wondering if anyone knows some easier songs that I could easily figure out. Preferably a song that I can hear the guitar clearly when I listen to it and not get confused. Any recommendations?

I'm a fan of melodic death metal, but most of it is probably far too complicated. Remember, I'm just starting out. This is my first venture away from the book.

No metalcore Lamb of God stuff, please, I can't stand it.

Often heard on MTV shows such as: Cribs and I want a famous face!
I have asked this before, again and again... No one knows the answer!
The artist is female, in her video she has her name up in lights (No not Maria!) and is singing into a 1920's style microphone! She is African American!
The start of the song goes... (cant belive im trying to explain this!)
