I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me the story behind the song Bobby. I just barely heard it for the first time...and I really like it. But I dont completly understand the story it tells. Bobby killed his wife and went to jail...and the little boy is his son. But Bobby didn't really kill her...he just didnt want to see her suffer. Than something about a car accident...that really took her life. Sorry...I just want to hear your interpretation.

bobby's wife was suffering from complications after a car accident. and bobby couldn't take watching her in that much pain, so he killed her. and when he was sentenced to ail their son said i hope you go to hell or something of that nature. then the son grew up and came to realize why his father had done what he did. he fell in love and saw the pain bobby(his father) must have felt watching someone he loved in pain. and then he went to see his father in jail.
i love reba. she is so so awesome.
