In the early 90's i worked in a pub, and the DJ was a into soul music. There was one song in particular that I loved, but I have no idea who it was by or what it was called. I can only remember about 3 lines that went "There's a girl overboard, there's a girl overboard, and i'm drowning in a sea of love".

Any ideas?!

People always talk about the singers, the guitarists, and the drummers. What about the bassists??? We have feelings, too! The only comments i've heard are somewhat negative like "What do you call a guy that hangs around with musicians...a bass player" Hardy har har. There are a lot of underappreciated bassists out there (including me). If no one else will make a stand for bass players, i guess i will cuz no matter what people say, I AM PROUD TO BE A BASS PLAYER!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was Dire Straights but I'm not sure, and I don't know what the song is called. It's the one that goes "and the colored girls go doo da doo" or something like that. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Too many tempo changes, circus music references, marching band licks, etc. Too much mish-mash IMO.

there's this radio station KBUS 101.9 that plays the most limited selection possible all the while running intro's like "largest rock selection in the universe".I love to hate it
but I don't like to hate some songs I used to like.
ultimate burned out song ever "like a rock" by bob seger, never liked it in the 1st place but after endless years of being in those truck commercials its torture. (funny after all those years I can't remember if it was ford or chevy,I guess it didn't work.)

I want a MJ song, but i dont know the name of that song. i have seen it only once. i remember the scenes of that song.

A cat also passes in the first introduction of that song
In that song he'll dance on the top of a car, the glasses brokes into pieces. Then he'll dance on some water slashing his legs.

Being a MJ fan, im really sorry & shame to say this.

Does anybody know that song. Plz tell me the name and if possible tell any free link to download it.!!

I'm only 25 and I find myself starting to dislike the lyrics and images I'm hearing and seeing from rap. The other day I was listening to some Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy and other artists and started to wonder why I continue to listen to them rap about crack. Am I the only one? Am I just getting old?

i had the great fortune of meeting crosby, stills and nash. they were staying at the resort that i work at before a show and ran into them several times. got back stage passes and actually got to hang out with them before the show, we even drank david crosbys' beer! (he likes sierra nevada pale ale). they were incredibly down to earth and kind, gave us lots of momentos too!
