This is a question for only those into hip-hop really I guess.
For anyone who is about to say 'rap isn't music! its just a load of black dudes shouting!' or whatever please do me a favour, leave me alone and go answer a different question.

But for those into hip-hop, why is Jay-Z so highly praised?? To me he is an ugly dude with big nostrils and an irritatingly whiny nasal voice with very little talent and hardly any good songs that I can name. Yet most people consider him like 'the king' or certainly one of the greatest of all time.

WHY??? There are SOOO many better MCs... especially in the underground scene.. why?

So we have this kid in our choir who CONSTANTLY sings WAY too loud, what's worse is that he is ALWAYS off! He thinks he is reallllllly good though... how should we get him to stop singing loudly without hurting his feelings... even our choir director always picks on him for being too loud but he just doesn't get it!
