I like rap music, actually I like it a lot, but lately it seems like most songs are repetative and a little lame (like that Chain hang low song). What I want to know is who feels the same way? Don't get me wrong, I still listen to most, but it's usually the older stuff.

Please don't answer with racist remarks, or rude remarks. Thanks!

Oh by the way, I know that any type of music can get lame and repetative, but lately (in my opinion), rap has been taking the cake.

I had a friend give me a mixed tape forever ago and it had a song on it that sounded kind of like salsa music and some of the words were, "I've been saving all my love for a rainy day...didn't know that love was gonna hurt this way." Then another part said, "I can be the one to care for you and a thousand dreams could all come true...if you'd let me be the one." If was a male vocalist and I was never able to find out who it was. I've looked all over the internet with no luck. :( If you can help I would be appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any replies!

I'm currently looking for a job in Music Publishing. Ive got a First Class Honours degree in Music and Media Management with Accounting. Anyone work in the industry and want to give me a job? DMX is a lot better person and rapper than Jay Z because Jay Z only talks about how he wants to f*** ho*s, get rich, and show off his cars. DMX at least raps straight from the heart and tries to improve his soul by trying to do the right thing. Look the song is not about no damn moon landing okay it's a tribute to Andy Kaufman one has nothing to do with the other. Plus the movie was suppsoed to be a biography.

Out of these three bands, which one do you like the most?

For me, it's gonna go like this...

1. At The Drive-In
2. The Mars Volta
3. Sparta

I was going to put The Mars Volta first, but I was a fan of At The Drive-In before The Mars Volta was even formed, so they hold the number one spot in my heart. Heh. I love all 3 bands though.

Today I won two tickets to the Placebo gig at Wembley on Saturday.

My flatmate is celebrating her birthday on Saturday. Should I be a good friend and forget the gig, or should I go to the gig? Would I be a bad friend if I go the gig?
