Music - 4 December 2006

well, i LOVE singing. but the only time ive sang in front of a crowd was for this solo chorus recital. WEll, im a 7th grader, and theres about....... 300-400 people that come to v-show. I want to sing, but whenever i get in front of people i get REALLY SHAKEY and i feel like everyones like, "omgod look shes totally freaking out." and i like, stutter i guess, not really but my voice is shakey along with my body. its also really hard for me to sing cuz i run out of breath real fast. Im sortof assuming i have stage fright. any... cures? PLEASE PLEASE HELP. v-show is in like, february er april or something idk. but, i want LOTS of time to practice.

In the commercial for the videogame "Gears of War" there's a slow, haunting song with a piano track playing. I think the lyrics in the commercial are: "All around me are familiar places/worn out faces." Who sings this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Who do you think is the best reggae artist, and what is his (or her... I don't really know of that many female reggae singers) best album? I want to get my friend a reggae CD but I don't really know which one to get. If you can think of a good artist OTHER THAN BOB MARLEY, please let me know! here is what i read in a article realted to buying used basses:

Neck relief is crucial on any bass, especially on used ones. If you don't like the neck relief or the feel of the neck, ask the store luthier or clerk to set it up to your liking. Many jewel basses go unnoticed because of poor playing set up

Theres this song i've heard before and its the weirdiest song, i've seen the video for it to. The song is just singing about getting high (something like: Get high, Get High repeated) and the video is just the rapper walking around and your see him from a weird shaped screen that's like one of those distorted mirrors.
Lol does anyone know what song i'm talking about? If you do could you post the name and artist? Or either or, any info.
