In the indy circuit you might like a band called Power Movement Project which is a great clash of NIN and Bob Marley elements. I'd also recommed Nine Inch Nails and the old 90's bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots And Smashing Pumpkins. Favourite Albums of my own include Soundgarden's "Down on the Upside", Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream", Stone Temple Pilot's "Core", and Pearl Jam's "Versus"

TOOL, Breaking Benjamin, Slipknot to name a few. The Ultimate though, of course, is Stone Temple Pilots---sadly not together anymore. They broke up into 2 bands though...Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone.

Rammstein even though it is hard for you to read German it is very forcefull. You should download Rammstein's "Du Hast" it is a very well known song and is good to start out with to see if you like it.
You should also look into Stone Temple Pilots "Vasoline", "Sex Type Thing" etc.
Soundgarden
