No, animals seem to enjoy it too! unless of course you mean activity as in actually making the music, then no (lol)

Well concidering humans are the only ones to comprehend notes and reading I would have to say so. Although studies have proved that animals like listening to music...but as far as teaching an animal to play an instrument I don't think that could ever happen. Even the most basic of instruments.

No i dont think that at all .
have you ever heard the concerts of whales ,or Orcas ,or Dolphins,
what about birds ,what about gophers,what about tree frogs,or crickets .there are endless examples of animals ,insects and birds making music
monkeys use sticks to drum on hollow trees
Many Animals have built in instruments
as far as reading notes is concerned ,birds can copy or mimic a great range of notes ,with out needing to read them .
that is superior not inferior

What an intriguing question. Obviously you would have to define "music". Is it any pleasant sounds? Or is it a pattern? Way too deep for me, but I'm looking forward to hearing what our comrades have to say. Geniuses out there, impress us.
