Seriously, if you haven't heard all of Shakira's stuff you should really check her out. She is way more than "Hips Don't Lie," she has been writing all of her own songs since she was 13, she is amazing. So far she has only 2 albums in English ("Laundry Service" and "Oral Fixation,") but if you're willing to try some of her Spanish stuff then I highly reccomend the "Donde Estan Los Ladrones" CD or the more recent "Fijacion Oral." And from her first CD "Pies Descalzos," the song "Antologia" is wonderful. Enjoy!

I love those singers, too!
Have you listened to Sarah Mclaughlin, Dido, Vanessa Carlton, and Norah Jones?
Some other singers I like and songs I think you should listen to are:
Nellie McKay - "The Dog Song"
Regina Spektor - "Fidelity"
Chantal Kreviazuk - "Feels Like Home"
Katie Melua - "The Closest Thing To Crazy"
