Music - 14 November 2006

I'm going to London from Canada in December to see George Michael perform at Wembley Arena. The last time I went it was 15 yrs ago and I was 18. It was to see him at the same venue. I went to 3 GM shows there in 1 week. Yes I'm a huge fan!

I am worried about travelling alone. How will I be able to afford a hotel if I am not splitting the cost with anyone? Also worried about the latest threats. Youth hostels aren't an option for me so I want to find a cheap but safe hotel. Also what will I do there alone? Does anyone want to share a hotel room so the costs would be cheaper? I am going for a week. Have tickets to 2 concerts and plan to find tickets to a 3rd show when I am there. I have been to London before, as I said, and that time was by myself too but I found it really lonely. Plus, right now the only way I can afford the trip is if I find a cheap hotel or can split a double occupancy room with someone! i always wondered if j5 played the instruments in the songs in which they were recording. why would berry gordy let beginners play on their records when he had a professional band(the funk brothers) behind him that could do it all. has that ever struck anybody as odd.
