Honestly, I think he's a bit overhyped, at least as overhyped as an underground legend can get.

Yeah his michael myers mask and KFC bucket/hat are a bit weird, but they kinda scream gimmick more than eccentric.

As far as his music, he is great, but personally I've never been one to be able to listen to hours upon hours of instrumental guitar, rock or otherwise.

Another thing that bothers me about the mask is not being able to see his face, his emotions when he's playing. The best guitarist I've seen play in person, Vernon Reid formerly of Living Color, I was in the front row during their concert back in '89 and was transfixed by his emotion and how he appeared to be pouring himself into the music.
