My step sisters teenage daughter recently described The Beatles as 'cheesy'.

Either tasts have changed or I have misunderstood the meanding of the word.

I alwals undertood it to mean elements of popular culture that are naff. Examples are The Eurovision Song Contest, the music of Stock, Atkin and Waterman and the 'Shake and Vac' advert.

Am I wrong on this?

I have heard a song on a country music radio station that is called Less One Day. I can't find out who sings it. Some of the lyrics go like this:
