I am 14 years old and I'd really like to learn how to play the guitar. I've tried in the past but lack of motivation and laziness got the better of me. I'd rather not have formal lessons because when something has a time restriction it becomes a chore to me. I've tried lessons in the past and they simply do not cater to my learning style. Can anybody suggest any good methods for teaching yourself to play guitar?

It's a techno song, and the theres a girl singing.
It sounds something like.....don vira....or don mira...or something of that sort. I could be way off. She repeated it many times.
