i just wanna buy the orginal, real version, and if that means there's a few swear words on it, it's ok, I'm gonna buy it anyway ;) ...
I just don't like it when there are some "blank" moments in a song, and all that you hear is silence...

To me, an explicit album isn't about the cussing, it's about artistic integrity.
When an artist writes a song, the 'explicit' version is the one that they write. The lyrcis were written specifically to deliver the kind of message and meaning the artist intended. In certain cases, artists use cuss words in their lyrics to provide impact or to illustrate their strong feelings towards a subject.
However, the cleaned-up radio versions usually end up altering the songs to make them fit for public airplay - sometimes by changing a word to a less offensive one or rewriting entire lines or phrases altogether. Obviously, when this happens, the song has been changed from the artist's original intention and lessens whatever impact was originally written into the song.
In essence, it's like putting pants onto a classic greek sculpture or drawing clothes over a nude painting.
So while it may be offensive to some, I choose to listen to the original, 'explicit' version.

Hello - anybody home? Knocks on hollow head.
If, for example, you don't like the music of Public Enemy or Rage Against The Machine, you shouldn't even be bothered to buy the clean version!
An artiste doesn't sit down and decide, 'Hmm, today, should I write a song with swear words in it, or shouldn't I?'
If you really like P. Diddy or Nine Inch Nails, support their unedited music. But if you want your children to listen to clean music - don't even bother buying a clean version of an otherwise 'explicit' album. It would be better to just introduce your children to already clean music, such as classical.
I don't swear. If I listen to NIN, I respect the artiste for his real music, not because he edited it to please the radio station.

I completely agree with you. Cussing is a bad habit that I don't really want to pick up on. People do this because they are sick weirdos. I would have to ask why the artists even make albums with explicit lyrics on them. It limits their customers... (idiots)

Listening to cussing doesn't always make you cuss. I guess some people prefer it because they speak that way themselves and they are comfortable with it.

because the explicit is diffferent from the radio version that everyone else knows, and the silent pauses (where the curse words would be )are often quite annoying
