It is a country song, with a partial chrous of "Tell me brother would you pass the test" in it.

The song has a few examples of situation where someone needed help, and was it possible that they were angels sent to see if we could pass the test and do the right thing.

One example is a woman who getting beat, and the question is whether you would call the police or do nothing.

Another was a child dying of cancer, and was she an angel?
