Michael Jackson was good when he was still black. Look at M. C. Hammer, Paul McCartney, and Pat Benatar.
I barely remember those times since I was still playing music from the 60s and before.

I remember them and wish to GOD I could forgot them. Vanilla Ice wasn't that bad per say, but Micheal Jackson, now there's someone to be proud of. NOT. He's a damned pedophile that got off because he payed off the families!

My aunt offered me Michael Jackson's secret cassette for Christmas 1985. I then have been given Duran Duran's Rio. I purely listened to those 2 for a mutually as. In December 1988 and January 1989, i began out listening to pop radio. back then each and every component from new wave pop to heavy steel became performed on pop radio. I grew to alter into addicted to glam steel (hairbands). They have been fairly enormous back then. i offered weapons N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Poison, Cinderella, Skid Row, and a super form of others. In 1989, me and my sisters joined the Columbia homestead song club. 12 cassettes for a penny. We split it up 3 strategies. I stayed a cassette shopper till Christmas 1992 once I have been given my first cd participant. I have been given Metallica's And Justice For All, and storage Days Re-Revisited. I not at all have been given into vinyl. i became not at all around for the 8 music craze,,,,yet my mom and dad had many. thank you for letting me inform you this, LOL. I certainly have fond suggestions of 1989. I nonetheless think of it extremely is the final era of song. there became a super form of forms of song on the pop charts then. human beings fairly did have greater of an open suggestions back then. whilst's the final time you have heard heavy steel on pop radio? tremendously loopy. no longer too point out even the classic rockers like the Rolling Stones have been on the charts in 1989 with a music stated as "mixed thoughts". tremendously cool to be certain a super form of types be widespread. we would desire to come again to that mentality of having an open suggestions.

You mean like Huey Lewis and the News; Bruce Spreensteen; Billy Joel; John Cougar Mellicamp; Annie Lennox; Cyndi Lauper; The Culture Club; Madonna (she sang "Material Girl" and "Lucky Star"); and Flock of Seagalls? Yes, I remember all of them....because I was a teen in the 1980s. ;)

Oh yes I can remember groups like Troop, New Edition, Silk, Keith Sweat, EPMD, 3rd Base, Chubb Rock, Kwame. Yes, that's when music was not just about sex.
