that did a re-make of the Eazy-E song "Boyz-N-The Hood" some years back, but in a rock song?
Its a rap song but I heard it on the radio and it was rock, it sounded pretty tight and my friend told me that it came out a long while ago but she didnt know the name of the band, can anyone help me out with this? I want to get that song :)

I've tried searching the lyrics, but no luck. Singer's voice sounds a lot like Cat Power. Here are the lyrics:

Some of the lyrics are, "Words like violence, break the silence, come crashing in, into my little world/ hateful to me, pierce right through me, Can't you understand, oh my little girl/ (chorus) All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here, in my heart/ Words are very, unneccessary, they can only do harm" . Tori Amos did a cover of it on Strange Little Girls, I think it was the one of, if not the last song on the album. Looking for the original artist's name. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

This is kinda vague, but I dont remember any words. It's upbeat and probably 80's. The main chorus has no words but the male singer says "ooh" or something for 3-4 notes, then changes key and repeats the pattern for another 3-4 notes. its a really good song but hard to sing along to at the chorus b/c of the key change.
Sounds a bit like aldo nova. Anyone know it?

I was just reading a question and answer about Bruce Springstein.. Please understand that Im not taking anything away from him. I'm just not interested in his music...But a few people described him as "brilliant" and the last time I saw this performer was in a place called Asbury Park, New Jersey less than a year ago I think..
First, I couldn't understand a word he said. Second, his voice sounded as though he was singing through a metal frypan. Third, most of the people there (it was in - I think Convention Hall - were - well they looked like they were all over 45..And fourth, he was dressed kind of sloppy. So. I guess Bruce Springstein is "brilliant" in that age group? So hey. Im 23. What do I know anyway.
I guess he's just not my style...
(and yes I know he's made millions of dollars in his career, and I know he has lots of fans)

it was on Jack fm.... It sounded like 80's. I cant remember any lyrics but it was a male singer and the main chorus had no words. it was just singing notes with a change in the key halfway thru the chorus. singing "ooh" or somehting. kinda vague, I know...but it was such a good song!

I just bought a new vidio ipod and my little siter droped it in the bath and now it is froze and wontlet me do any thing. it still turns on but it dosnt want to play music for me. i dont have a warenty on it and i was wondering if thnere is any thing that i could but the would make it play?

This one is tough. I was listening to satellite radio at work about a year ago and this rock song came on. A few clumps of lyrics i can remember are: (Someday, whatever happens) (back, this could be) i think it's called someday, as the word is extended at the beginning of the repeat, but i can't find the name of the song or band anywhere! it's a male vocalist, prolly a 3-4 member band. plz help
