For the unintiated MOBO stands for Music of Black Origin.
Lets get the racism thing out of the way....because I'm sure some of you would be very quick to throw that one at me.
I really don't think I am racist, but I just feel uneasy about this concept. Surely there could / should never be a MOWO awards, so why the need to design awards around colour / ethnicity.
If I am being ignorant here (not impossible) please enlighten me

Don't you all agree that Willie Nelson's brain on drugs is much better than Willie Nelson not on drugs. When Nelson is high hes making beautiful music that millions of people identify with and help them get through the day.

And don't give me any crap about how this looks to "the kids". No kids are active Willie Nelson fans, and I garuntee no one listens to Willie Nelson to "want to be like him". As a matter of fact, you listen to Willie so you can get a gauge on what not to be like (mammas dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys).

Basically, I think Willie Nelson should get a free pass to smoke all the pot and trip on all the shrooms he wants. This isn't such a big deal. Hell if we can send people to Guantanamo indiscriminately, why cant we give people to ability to do drugs indiscriminately?

My boyfriend really wants one - he just LOVES the sound - and I just can't afford a full-out Telecaster.
Are there other guitars with a similar sound that are more affordable?
example, Gibson also makes Epiphone which is basically a less expensive, foreignly made version of the same guitars.
I'm looking for a comparable comparison for the Fender Telecaster.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
