Get a new girlfriend. If you seriously have a problem with her because of her music selection, then maybe you need to step back and look at the big picture. What made you want to date her in the first place? When you are with her, what do you enjoy? I'm sure the answer to both of those questions was not "metal music". You can't MAKE anyone like anything. She is her own person and an individual. Learn to appreciate her as she is, or get a new girlfriend.

"Make her"....That is going to get you no where. First you got to understand you dont own her and never will therefor you cant make her do anything or turn her into anything, you can only suggest it.
Secondly Im sure you knew she was a girly girl when you first got together so if you try to change her that means you love her for "who you want her to be" and not for "who she really is".
However if you would like her to listen to your kinda music then "ASK" her too just listen to a few songs and see what she thinks. Make some compromises. If it turns out she still dont like your kinda music that is fine she dont have too.

Oh man- I had this same problem! she was a huge Nsync fan.
I'd start her off w/ stuff easy on the ears. Maybe the metal bands that're on the softer side or a the softer songs 1st. every one of em did at least 1 wimpy tune. (except for Slayer. They Never sold out)
Then gradually slide into the meaner, heavier stuff...
Black Sabbath's more catchy tunes might be a good starting point. Along w/ Rush. Very melodic work.
Feel free to email for any more help..

Some of the softer Guns N' Roses songs like November Rain, Patiece, Don't Cry. Take it 1 step at a time, then progress to Power Ballads like Home Sweet Home, Dream On, Sweet Emotion, then progress slowly to heavier stuff.

Why are you going out with her if you think she's "too girly"? You shouldn't try to change her into who you want her to be. If it's so important to you that your girlfriend has the same taste as you then you should go out with someone who already likes that sort of thing. She deserves better than someone trying to force her to be who she isn't.

NOTHING!!! Why are you gonna "make her like Metal" if she doesn't. She might feel that you're too controlling =( and its not gonna be good for your relationship if youre gonna act that way. If she's too girly for you, well maybe she's not the right girl for you... sorry :(

Start with mainstream...i.e. Metallica...then Priest, Iron MAiden...show her a picture of Dave Mustaign(however the hell that's spelled). Hopefully she'll come around and not listen to the crap that's called rap, hip hop, pop!!!
