You'd think with the divine inspiration Christian musicians have, the fruits of their labour would at least rival the quality of their secular counterparts. Granted this is all subjective, but surely there would be some crossover into the mainstream market if Christian music was actually any good. its all far too generic for my taste, or am i missing something?

what is your opion on music and violent video games when it come to your children? i have a 13 year old that listen to metal music and loves video games. Ann 11 daughter that loves rap music and pretty much whatever is playing on the radio. Where do you draw the line or do. I dont believe it makes them any different on how they act. I would rather know what they are listening and playing than them doing it behind my back. But, tell me what you think.

I am a high school freshman. For the last 10 years I have played violin, unfortunately due to the fact that I have a prestigious music school in my town my high school is overrun with violins already. I am considering changing to the viola. I would greatly appreciate a person who plays both to advise me if this is a possible solution, and clearly state the differences. Thanks so much.
