I used to listen to the original version of that song-from the soundtrack "Dirty Dancing Havana Nights"...Sang by wyclef jean and i donnow the lady who sing it. I love the song very much, but when Shakira came with her latest single-that song- i am upset cos i think she screwed the original version.....what do you think? anybody ever listened to the ori soundtrack???

How do you do this? I have limewire and can download karaoke, but i don't understand how the words get on the screen. Do you have to use a certain kind of disc? Are there any special file names for the ones that have the words when you put it on cd?

I've been playing bass guitar for a few years now and was in an electric-folk band for awhile, but now I'm playing a much louder type a music (sort of jazz-metal) with my new band. I've been playing out of a 115-watt 10" keyboard amp, but my drummer (and not that this is a bad thing at all) plays so loudly that even at full volume it is sometimes hard to hear myself playing unless I have distortion on with the gain way up.

Since I don't always want to be playing distorted, I've come to the conclusion that I need a larger, more powerful amp. The problem is, I know next to nothing about them. So how do I know which brand to go with and with what size/number of speakers? Stack or combo? Solid-state or vacuum? Help!

when you're fingering and picking notes
when you come across something like first fret on second string and first fret on fifth string at the same time, how do you pick it?
do you pluck the fifth string with your thumb so that your thumb goes down and pick the second string with your ring finger so that your finger goes up?
so will it be like thumb goes down and finger goes up at the same time? and then thumb and finger sort of touch after plucking?
cause that's how i do it, but i never seen people do it..
