Jimi Hendrix wasnt the only African American rocker. I believe that rock was created partly from jazz. I just think its ironic that some (not all) of the people i know, manly black, do not listen to the rock genre.

This song was played in a movie! I'm not sure but I think the movie is called "Safety patrol" and when he gets to his lowest point "in the movie" because he sees this girl he likes with someone else.....and this song by a woman is played!
