He's my all time favourite rapper but lately it feels as if he's just lost his brilliance. i know he's retired but when i listen to his previous albums compared to the last one, it just isn't the same.
Will he ever come back? or is this the end of his genius.

I've had my piercings long enough that it's healed completely...should I keep washing them w/ soap and water in the shower? I usually take the soap and wash the jewelry and rotate the jewelry to make sure the soap cleans it all the way through really good then rinse them off really really good, espcially while it's healing, but I wasn't sure if I should keep doing that or just wash my face as normal but not really rotate the jewelry like I've been doing. It's not hurting my piercings or anything, it's just time consuming. BTW...I know this isn't a music question, but I know a lot of people read the music stuff so I was just wanting some help. Thanx!

I'm not going to be much help, it sounds a lil Irish, and it is not really rap, talking like...says something about they were drinking from a fountain, coming down the mountain...the chorus has like bagpipes and he says something like I can still taste your kiss and I can smell your clothes..it is singing about people that pushed their luck too far...I'm sorry for not helping more, I hope you can help me, I would love to have the words!

This song was from The New Christy Minstrels album "Ramblin'" which also contains the hit single "Green, Green" originally released as CS 8855 on Columbia Records in 1963.

I tried everything I could to get the lyrics, however, The New Christy Minstrels themselves refuse to reveal them anywhere.

The melody of this song is similar to that of the Kingston Trio's "The River is Wide" also recorded by the Seekers later in the 1960's. Lyrics to "The River is Wide" are available but not to the "Last Farewell".

Could it be that the "Last Farewell" by The New Christy Minstrels is only a takeoff on "The River is Wide" by the Kingston Trio as the result of no lyrics released for the "Last Farewell"?
