try learning by playing "guitar tabs" thay are represented with six horizantal lines as the guitar strings (the top line being the little "e" string and the bottom line being the big "E" string) and the numbers are the position where you are suppose to put your finger and which fret.
you get these "guitar tabs" by typing "guitar tabs" on your search

First,,get a guitar & a book.Practice chords.Practice alot!They also sell music books of songs from your favorite artists where they have the chords for you to follow.It takes time but stay with it & you'll get better at it.
