British: The Beatles. My Mom had all their albums. I about played the grooves out of the Meet The Beatles album. My favorite song was "I Saw Her Standing There".
American: The Monkees. Yes, I said The Monkees. My older sister was hooked on Davy Jones, and I always liked whatever she liked. My favorite song was "Last Train to Clarksville".
