In the 1990s, people were sick of stupid, vapid hair bands with names that started in W: Warrant, Whitesnake, White Lion, etc. College kids were getting into less polished, longer music that was more Black Sabbath than Ozzy Osbourne. Influences included the MC5, the Monks, the Pixies, Husker Du, Sonic Youth, the Wailers (not those Wailers), and others.

A lot of these new bands got together in the Pacific Northwest, and dressed like it: Plaid shirts, old camo pants, hiking boots, knit caps.
Nirvana was the most famous grunge band, but Seattle was also the homebase of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, the Fastbacks, L7, Tad (who was a real dick), Hammerbox, Bikini Kill, Mother Love Bone, and others.

Heroin and money eventually broke up the scene.

Measuring the penis when it isn't erect is pointless, since the length and bulk are affected by various temporary factors, such as the ambient temperature. Even the largest male organ can shrink to virtually nothing if the man goes for a swim in cold water. However, at normal temperatures a non-erect p enis usually measures between 8.5 cm and 10.5 cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base.

The average figure is about 9.5 cm (3.75 inches). Of course, it's true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility.

Nirvana was actually just the "break out" band. There were others in Seattle before them. And I am still convinced that Courtney killed Kurt.....
Anyway...... check out Kurt Cobain's journals, STP's first album and then check out Temple of the Dog, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, Blind Melon..... You probably weren't born yet when their first albums hit the airwaves the in the great NW.
Then go check out the DVD Singles. Enjoy!
