I've had my piercings long enough that it's healed completely...should I keep washing them w/ soap and water in the shower? I usually take the soap and wash the jewelry and rotate the jewelry to make sure the soap cleans it all the way through really good then rinse them off really really good, espcially while it's healing, but I wasn't sure if I should keep doing that or just wash my face as normal but not really rotate the jewelry like I've been doing. It's not hurting my piercings or anything, it's just time consuming. BTW...I know this isn't a music question, but I know a lot of people read the music stuff so I was just wanting some help. Thanx!

Um...okay. I don't want people's opinions on whether they like piercings or not, I just wanted info...so no thanks to whoever that person was...But ANYWAY...thank you other people. Very good advise, I appreciate it. I have time to clean it, and I do clean them in the shower everyday, it's just aggrivating to do all of them b/c I have so many it takes a while if I actually don't need to...ya know... but thank you for the input.

I think it is a good idea to continue washing them in the shower with soap and wate, along with rotating them... when you rotate them in the shower you are stilll getting them clean all the way through, this will help make sure you dont get any infections in the future. You probably dont need to do it everyday, but make sure to do it like 2 or 3 times a week.....

you dont need to do it everyday, but it cant help if you make a habit of it every few days... when you do have time....

If you have no time to look after the cleanliness of your piercing... maybe you shouldnt have had it done in the first place???

I wash my piercings thoroughly...
i was told to by the lady that nailed me.
...they'd still get nasty over time I would think.

I also rotate them constantly to keep them from sticking...the one in my brow stuck once...it was gross...so yeah...
wash...keep 'em clean.

You shouldn't have to every day if it's been healed for awhile, but every now and then is good.
