I want to know what others think about the bands Rush and Tool and which one is better. I personally think Rush is much more talented, genius, and just over all better. All of my friends on the other hand love Tool beyond what they should. I like both but still, Rush is better to me... so what do you guys think?

Label like Nu-metal, Screamo, Emo, etc., etc. I was just strolling through the mall and this chick comes bouncing up to me and says "Do you listen to "Screamo" or "Emo" ?". I thought she was drunk. I would have done her until she opened her mouth. I seriously felt bad for her. I guess that's what I get for going to the mall. What ever happened to the basics- Rock, Heavy Metal, Goth, New Wave, Jazz, Funk, Rap, Alternative, Punk, Reggae, Ska, R&B, Orchestra, etc.

My friend Joseph is in the marching band with me and he's is our section leader for the trumpet section. We have 4 seniors (including myself and him) that are on the trumpet line and he picks the laziest senior to help him out with the show music for the younger ones. Him and the rest of the trumpet members make my ideas look like **** and that I have no idea what i'm talking about. I know more music that all of them put together but I guess no one sees that. Another thing about outr band, our band director is pretty crooked as well, this year, last year and this year, he's chosen the dullest characters for our drum major and I think he knows it too. Mentally, these characters could think through the formation and see how it was done, but personality-wise they don't put spirit into the show. I would turn around and tell someone about it that was in the band, but they wouldn't listen to me. I guess any activity, job, or anything you do will have some kind of scandalous situations.
