The song/tune was by Jim Pepper who was Creek Indian as well as jazz musician. We know the version by Jan Garbarek. We are naming our narrowboat Witchi Tai To and would like the exact meaning!

I have always felt that there are few things more alluring than a beautiful AsiAm woman who plays the piano (or violin) with passionate talent. What is it about this combination of assets that grabs my imagination so forcefully? Does this have some connection with Ravel's "Bolero", or should this question have been better posed under the 'Health--Mental Health' category (OK! I'm just kidding here; you don't need to crucify me for indulging in a bit of humor!).

A friend has just started to learn the clarinet - I play the flute, but as the clarinet is a B flat instrument we cannot use the same music, so some simple suggestions would be appreciated - I could always transpose, but this requires loads of concentration, some written published music would be a boon.

Okay I really hope someone knows what song im talking about here!.

It was played during the television trailer for world trade center the lyrics are something like this: "...love will guide you home...." or something relative to that, I cant find who sings this or the name of the song anywhere!. I have searched and searched!.

I believe its also played in the end of the O.C season 1 when Marissa goes through her drug overdose.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It squeaks whenever I play below a three finger C on a 2 1/2, 3, or 3 1/2. That's all I've tried. I just started this summer so that I could be in marching band. I played oboe before that. The high notes are pretty difficult too. Is something wrong with my instrument? Do I need to soak the reed longer?
