Experience will eventually teach you a lot of things. Just focus on them for a long time and you probably won't forget about them.

Here's a start...you already know that the unfretted notes are E A D G B and E. Well, the note of the 5th fret of each string is the same as the preceding unfretted note (5th fret on the low E is A, which is the same as the unfretted 5th string; 5th fret on the A string is D, the same as the unfretted 4th string, and so on). The only exception is the G string. The 4th fret is B, not the 5th as with all the other strings. The octave of each unfretted string is found at the 12th fret.

That should make it easier to fill in the blanks on the rest...and it just takes time and practice.

Start at the first fret on the low E and go up chromatically four frets on each string - (1234 on the low E, then 1234 on the A, and so on), saying the name of the note out loud as you hit it. Then move to the fifth fret on the low E and repeat the process, until you have done the whole guitar. Write out some tab with the name of each note if you have to, so you can read off it until it sticks in your head.

This will also probably help your fingering just like practicing a scale.

Take a sheet of paper, draw all the strings and frets. Then, make maybe, 20 copies. Everyday, just sit down and write all the notes down, and you'd be suprised at how fast and easy it is. Also, you can use this later to "connect the dots" when you are faced with chord theory and such. It just makes it all much easier to see.
