I played a Parkwood PW370M at the store today and I really liked the feel and the sound. I could get it for $700, $550 off the retail price of $1250, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the brand. Do you think this guitar is worth it? I don't like the sound of most martins because i like a brighter sound and i'm looking in the $600 range, give or take.

What alternatives do we have? Give me some ideas of good UK, Brit, or other international bands that produce good alternative, new wave, electronic, pop, indie, synth, etc, music. I heard this song on the radio the other day & I've heard it before. Whenever it comes on a lot of people think it is Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby. It does sound like this, but when the vocals start, it obviously isn't. I don't remember any lyrics, but the word "pressure" comes to mind. Anyhow, what I am asking, is do you know who this artist is?

so Today I was on myspace looking through band profiles that arent signed to a record label (i have lots of these types of bands on my friends list) so while i was listening too some of this music i was thinking that i could have a section of my profile called "Brads Virtually Unknown and Unsigned Music Section" and in this section i take all of these bands and provide the links to their myspaces and write reviews on their music,what i think is their best song,and a rating.do you think this would be a good idea? and if you know any bands that are really good and arent signed to a label and they have a myspace with music on it and wanna give me the address thats cool too.
