My ipod! i think its broken! It's going physco on me!!The songs don't play and when they do, they start in the middle and they skip in the middle of the song!! Whats the matter!I!

Maybe it's possessed. You need to call the exorcist!!!! .................
This happened with my sisters Ipod too. Only in the end it just completely froze over. But if you have a guarantee you can take it back and they'll fix it for free otherwise you might have to pay a hell of a lot of money. Or not.

Try holding down the centre button and "Menu" at the same time for about 10 to 15 seconds, this will cause it to reset (which will take about a minute). You won't loose any songs and it normally clears up this kind of thing.

Oh gosh. It happened to me so DONT PANIC. What I did was made a list of the songs that were shortened abruptly and deleted them off my ipod. Then I re-downloaded them and my problem was solved.

I have no idea. Try pushing both the menu button and center button and holding them until the apple logo comes up. Then see if it's still doing that.

yeah, either that, or use the iPod updater to restore/re-initialize your iPod. That should do the trick. Downside is you'll have to put everything back on it.
