In "Bad Moon Rising" from Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty says "There's a bad moon on the rise" - for years it was reported in magazines like "Rolling Stone" many people have thought he was singing "There's a bathroom on the right". Fogerty must have thought that was funny & decided to get in on the joke - in his solo live concert release CD "Premonition" in 1998, he actually sings THAT line in the last few times he repeats it at the end of the song. Check it out! I was driving my car the first time I listened to that CD, and about drove off the road laughing. Good one, John!

On the radio the other day they were doing a show on misheard lyrics, This one was really funny. Nelly Furtado's song " I'm Like a Bird" instead of "I don't know where my soul is" The caller thought she was singing "I don't know where my phone is".
