I think its Cassandra Wilson but I'm not sure. I heard it at work but when I look up the song most of the time it lists Avril Lavine and Madonna. I know it's neither. The Lyrics are the same but just much slower and melancholy.

Mine is 'Crawdaddy' by the Darling Buds. Came out in 1990, and 16 years later it still sounds as fresh as ever. 10 catchy, hook-filled, memorable songs in 39 minutes, no b.s. rock and roll; every song shoulda been a hit (college radio played "It Makes No Difference", "Fall" and "Crystal Clear"). THIS is the album I would take on a desert island.
