okay so ppl have been telling me that green day is either riting new songs for a new album...recording a new album...or finnished wit a new album(wich is oviosly not true) so wats true?

they are making a movie (The American Idiot) now and next year they will put out there new cd.

I read on their website that Billie Joe said he had 15 or so songs written and ready to put on a new album, but it wouldn't be right away cuz they are tak'n a 'rest' after this last tour.
