I am so mad at myself for forgetting who sings this song. I don't think that is the title but I know that is a major part of the song.

I just think it's sad that so many others my age are only obsessed with Shakira or those other miserable s**** that act the same... I don't have any disrespetct to what they like- so don't accuse me of that- I'm just saying. And now, being curious, I was just wondering if there were really no others who liked classical, jazz or other good music like that? Only real answers please- I don't care much for insults or unfair accusations! Thanks!

I think that Boston is overrated and that Garbage is underrated. Who do you think?

Any other old farts out there who remember the top 40 am radio of the '60s and '70s? If so, try the Mark Simone Oldies show, on WABC radio and the internet:

If you don't remember, let me tell you what I liked about it. Way back before Sirius, XM, iTunes, video music TV or even FM radio, all there was were one or two AM music stations in each town. Today's music is so fragmented, but these stations played EVERYTHING - rock, pop, soul, vocal groups, folk, country. They were the only outlet so they had to please everybody. That's why so many people remember it so fondly. Plus we grew up with it - the songs, the DJs, the jingles, the contests - maybe it seems corny now, but hey we liked it.

I don't say it's for everyone, but sometimes it's fun to go back.

So, old folks - tell me your memories. Young folks - tell us what good newer music we may be missing, that we should try. I don't dislike new music, I just don't know it.

They have been releasing songs about "california" and life in "california" for years now and up to californication it produced some awesome tunes (scar tissue, under the bridge, around the world, aeroplane etc.) but now it is chart friendly and extremely boring. Used to like them but now really can't stand them. anyone feel the same?

60's fan, even though I am only 25. Don't you think that a lot of music from that time period would fit our society today? For example:
'Turn,Turn, Turn'-by The Byrds
and 'Something in the air'-by Thunderclap Newman,
and of course who can forget 'Signs'-by Five Man Electrical Band?
If you have a good song, then add it to the list. Thanks.
