I really like Dvorak's "New World Symphony", but Bizet is a great composer too.

Don't waste your money on CD's specifically marketed for pregnancy or babies, though. Just go buy classical CDs. They are rather cheap on their own, and you're not paying for the extra "marketing" of being a "baby" product.

Well... there are too many artists of the classic spieces.
Let's start with my favourite, Bethoven, who has a little strength in his songs. Some relaxing music by him is the sonatas, with Moonlight Sonata the best of all.
Mozart is also one of the greatest artists of his century, and it called as "the miracle boy", because it was too young when he started composing. There are many preludes of him that may help to your situation.
Haydn is the master of the relaxing music. Anything from him, I should propose to you without another thought of relief.
Chaicovski has written many songs of the classic spieces, but I don't think it's the thing you ask for.
Vivaldi is as like Haydn. But they have a little strength on them. One of them that I propose to you.
For summary, anything with the name "cradle song" is the best music for you and your baby. Also look at "relax music" or "Sonatas". The preludes of Mozart and music written by Haydn or Vivaldi is also a nice choice.
If you have any answers, just send me a mail.
ps: Let the baby have the best luck of whole persons in the world.

Chopin is absolutely beautiful... it always makes me feel like in a beautiful dream. And I think that would be perfect during pregnancy or in labor. It could relax you in a positive and beautiful way. I'm so glad someone is finally asking something that relates to classical music- I'm tired of everyone going crazy about rock, rap or such- thanks for asking and I hope I was helpful!

By the way, best wishes for your birth and your baby! :)

The magical flute by Mozart is one of my favorites and is quite soothing, though I read lot of books when my sister was pregnant and they prefered Bethoven (he was a genius afterall-personal opinion)
However you might personally enjoy the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, they are wonderful to listen to, for all ages.

Palestrina. His works are very concordant and everything resolves. There is little tension and it's very peaceful and relaxing.
