basically i'm making this punk zine, and i've pretty much done a lot of promotion and have gotten everything set up in that aspect of it, but my problem is that hardly anyone is submitting stuff for it, so it's pretty much empty except for the reviews and articles that i've done for it. i know how to contact the bands and i've got someone covering the photography, but otherwise everyone just keeps telling me how excited they are about it coming out - and no one is adding to it.

how do i get people to contribute to the zine? i've posted in a bunch of places and told a lot of people, but no one seems to be paying attention or posting...

also, what kinds of things should i include in my zine? i've got band/music/movie interviews, comics, etc... should i include something else?

I am a horrible singer. My own mother tells me how bad it is. I love to sing though. I am not trying to get a record deal I just wanted to know if I take some voice lessons and learn how to hit a note if I could stop making dogs cry when I sing, or do you have to have some talent for that to work

What's the best way to clear out my singing voice? I sing, though somewhat often, my voice isn't as clear as it should be. I have to clear my throat because it's raspy, and I can't do as many things as I want or need to because of it being raspy. Is there anything I can drink or do to clear out my voice without making it worse or damaging it?

I searched "The vertebrae" in many different many spelling ways, but nothing comes up. I'm only like 50% sure it's vertibrae. I just remember it started with a V. They sounded kind of like the goo goo dolls. I can't remember the names to the songs or anything....so not sure if this is enough info for you to help, but it's worth a try because I just remember I really like their songs.

She is not a traditional girl. I need something a little offbeat, that will definately make an impression. Also, something that is not too difficult to learn. She absolutely loves marilyn manson, but this wedding will be at a church, so I need something that resembles manson's songs, but also applies to a wedding.. is this hopeless??
